Since 1973, more than US$117 million has been awarded to Lions in India through more than 2,330 grants. Last fiscal year, LCIF awarded 131 grants, totaling more than US$5.25 million to Lions in India.

Lions Clubs established its presence in India in 1956 and today has more than 200,000 members across 6,000 plus clubs. LCIF established a subsidiary in India called LCIF India, which was registered in September 2013.
